That being said, Shangela and Kennedy are good friends outside of the competition. – Backstage during deliberations, Shangela pulls Thorgy aside and proposes an alliance in the sense that Shangela wants to know that if Shangela saves her that Thorgy will save her later in the competition. They’ll lip synch later with the winner deciding which of the bottom two goes home–those two are Kennedy and Thorgy.ĩ:12 p.m. – Based on the critiques, Ru chose Shangela and Ben as the top two of the week. ![]() BeBe scored high for embodying Diana so perfectly and then played her updated executive realness look.ĩ:05 p.m. Todrick says that Ben was given the toughest challenge with Julie and the judges agree that she did it perfectly and they all loved her runway as well. – With Thorgy, the judges thought she didn’t go far enough into the caricature of Stevie Nicks, but at least Vanessa acknowledges that Stevie was a hard diva to be dealt. Shangela earned much deserved acclaim for both her Mariah portrayal and her stunning runway look.ĩ:03 p.m. Chi Chi scored major points for her impression of Patti, but her rehash of a neon look still failed to impress. – Kennedy was clocked for not knowing the words to her lip synch and for playing the part of Janet more in the vein of Kennedy than of Janet. That leaves Milk safe, but Thorgy vulnerable and a huge surprise with Chi Chi and Kennedy joining her.ĩ:01 p.m. – Shangela, Ben and BeBe were named the top three of the week! But Chi Chi, Kennedy and Thorgy were relegated to the bottom. We’ll see what the judges think!ĩ:00 p.m. Sadly, Thorgy and Milk may have secured their spots on the bottom with underwhelming looks on top of their underwhelming performances. – On the runway, the queens gagged with their best do-overs of former failures, but Shangela stole the show when she came out inside a bubble! That’s right, to redeem a Christmas look, she put herself inside an ornament and walked the runway in it. – During the performance, Ben as Julie, Shangela as Mariah and Chi Chi as Patti got the biggest laughs from the panel while Thorgy as Stevie and Milk as Celine left the judges blank-faced.Ĩ:55 p.m. – On hand this week to serve as judges along with Ru, Michelle Visage and Carson Kressley are Todrick and Vanessa Williams.Ĩ:44 p.m. Some of the girls tell Thorgy that while she is very talented, she came off as jealous of and preoccupied with Bob the Drag Queen on their season instead of focusing on how to be the best she could be.Ĩ:38 p.m. – While the girls get ready in the mirror, the discussion turns to the perceptions that came out about them following their debut seasons and what they thought of them. Thorgy, already upset that she was given the tough task of portraying Stevie, was approaching the performance too cerebrally and wanted to honor Stevie rather than embrace the more eccentric aspects of her as a character.Ĩ:34 p.m. – During rehearsals with Todrick Hall, Kennedy has difficulty nailing the marks set for her despite being one of the fiercest dancers in the group–her excuse is that she’s used to freestyling as opposed to choreography. – In addition to the lip synch performance, the queens will have to walk the runway in their best second chance at a look their failed to impress with in their first season because the category is… Rudemption.Ĩ:16 p.m. – For the showcase, BeBe Zahara Benet will be Diana Ross, Thorgy Thor will be Stevie Nicks, Milk will be Celine Dion, Kennedy Davenport will be Janet Jackson, Aja will be Amy Winehouse, Chi Chi will be Patti LaBelle, Trixie Mattel will be Dolly Parton, Ben will be Julie Andrews and Shangela will be Mariah Carey.Ĩ:10 p.m. SEE Gold Derby 101: Here’s how you can predict TV shows like ‘Survivor’ and ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ and win eternal bragging rightsĨ:08 p.m. – No mini challenge this week–instead RuPaul Charles kicks the episode straight into high gear with the maxi challenge, a lip synch extravaganza with each girl performing one of Ru’s songs as a classic diva of music. – Aja reveals that had she won the lip synch she would have sent Chi Chi home (which is fair, right?), but that could very well set up a vendetta for Chi Chi to seek against Aja later in the season.Ĩ:05 p.m. Ben is a sweetie, but how much of that is an act? The other girls don’t seem to be buying what she’s selling, LOL!Ĩ:03 p.m. ![]() – It was definitely hypocritical of BenDeLaCreme to oust Morgan under the pretense that the girls wouldn’t be cutthroat this season. ![]() Host RuPaul Charles decided to eliminate Morgan, but then hinted that she might have a shot of re-entering the competition at a later stage. SEE ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’: Was the right queen eliminated in ‘Divas Lip Sync Live’? ħ:59 p.m. – Previously, on “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars”! In last week’s season premiere Morgan McMichaels appeared nervous during the variety show and so she was named one of the bottom two along with Chi Chi DeVayne.
